Château Marquis de Terme

Château Marquis de Terme is owned by the Sénéclauze family. In January 2009, Ludovic David became the director, bridging the gap between the second and third generations, and with the support of the owners, he embarked on a major policy with a more international focus.

Various projects were undertaken at Château Marquis de Terme: renovation and refurbishment of a new tasting room, renovation and technical investments in the cellar, as well as a new investment in international press communications.

The Château Marquis de Terme vineyard, located in the communes of Margaux and Cantenac, covers 40 hectares. Of Garonne origin, the gravelly soils are characteristic of the great Margaux terroir. The gravel consists of pebbles, stones, sand, and silt. In the vineyard, the soil is worked and the grapes are harvested by hand, with no weeding. A policy of respect for the environment and ecological balance is implemented, and the estate is managed using sustainable methods.
