Château Monbrison
The Monbrison Castle is located on a magnificent vineyard in the town of Arsac, near several Grands Crus Classés such as du Tertre. This This 21-hectare family-owned estate is managed with dedication and flair by Laurent Vonderheyden and his daughter. Cultivated using sustainable farming practices, it is one of the pioneers of “green harvesting,” a technique that involves cutting a certain number of clusters to help the others ripen.
This great Margaux wine perfectly reflects its terroir, with beautiful balance, silky tannins, powerful fruit, and just the right amount of acidity. Accompanied by the renowned winemaker Eric Boissenot, the Monbrison Castle has been experimenting with organic and biodynamic farming since 2019 with a view to converting to these methods.
