Château Pouget
In 1748, Marshal-Duke of Richelieu, François-Antoine Pouget, became the head of the estate, which was then named after him: Château Pouget. In 1855, the Château Pouget has made its mark in the history of Bordeaux's great wines by achieving the status of a fourth Grand Cru Classé in Margaux.

The Guillemet family has been managing Château Pouget since 1906 . As an experienced winemaker , Lucien Guillemet is committed to ensuring that his wine expresses the beauty of the prestigious gravel soils. To that end, he takes particular care to determine the optimal harvest dates to bring out the full finesse of the Margaux terroir.

The vineyard of the Château Pouget is carried out in a sustainable manner: no chemical fertilizers, respect for the vine’s growth cycle, green pruning... This allows for the production of the Château Pouget Margaux 4th Grand Cru Classé and its second wine, Antoine Pouget.
