Escurac Castle
Château d'Escurac is located on one of the highest hilltops in the Médoc region of Bordeaux. Château d'Escurac is owned by the Landureau family, who fell in love with it and purchased it in 1934. Jean, the grandfather and horse lover, transformed the property into a stud farm and devoted himself to his passion. His son Jean-Michel diversified the estate's activities, developing vine cultivation and taking his grapes to the cooperative winery. Finally, it was Jean-Marc Landureau, his grandson and current owner, who, from his first harvests as a child, decided to devote his life to extracting the best from this beautiful terroir.

The Château d'Escurac vineyard, located in the Médoc appellation, is cultivated using sustainable methods: plots are grassed naturally or by sowing, pruned using the double Guyot or cordon method, leaf removal, and green harvesting depending on the plot. At Château d'Escurac, the wines are made using traditional methods and aged in barrels for 12 months.
