Escurac Castle
Château d’Escurac is located on one of the highest hilltops in the Médoc, in the Bordeaux region. Château d’Escurac is owned by the Landureau family, who fell in love with the property and purchased it in 1934. Jean, the grandfather and a horse lover, transformed the property into a stud farm and devoted himself to his passion. His son, Jean-Michel, diversified the estate’s activities, developed the vineyard, and brought his grapes to the cooperative winery. It was ultimately Jean-Marc Landureau, his grandson and current owner, who—from his very first harvest as a child—decided to devote his life to bringing out the best in this beautiful terroir.

The Château d'Escurac vineyard, located in the Médoc appellation, is cultivated using sustainable viticulture practices: plots with natural or sown grass cover, double Guyot or cordon pruning, leaf removal, and green harvesting depending on the plot. At Château d’Escurac, winemaking is carried out using traditional methods, and the wines are aged in barrels for 12 months.
