Escurac Castle
Château d’Escurac is located on one of the highest hills in the Médoc, in the Bordeaux region. Château d’Escurac is owned by the Landureau family, who fell in love with the property and purchased it in 1934. Jean, the grandfather and a horse lover, transformed the property into a stud farm and devoted himself to his passion. His son, Jean-Michel, diversified the estate’s activities, expanded the vineyard, and began delivering his grapes to the cooperative winery. Ultimately, it was Jean-Marc Landureau—his grandson and the current owner—who, from his very first harvest as a child, decided to devote his life to bringing out the best in this beautiful terroir.

The Château d’Escurac vineyard, located in the Médoc appellation, is cultivated using sustainable farming practices: plots are grassed naturally or through seeding; vines are pruned using the double Guyot or cordon methods; leaf removal is performed; and green harvesting is carried out depending on the plot. At Château d’Escurac, winemaking follows traditional methods, and the wines are aged in barrels for 12 months.
