Château Labadie

Château Labadie is located in the commune of Bégadan, 70 km from Bordeaux. Originally part of an estate classified as a cru bourgeois in 1932, Château Labadie was acquired in 1970 by Yves Bibey and now covers nearly 50 hectares. The Bibey family business, created in 1997 to bring Jérôme into the production side of the business, strives to produce a very high-quality AOC Médoc Cru Bourgeois wine. The passion for wine and the conviviality of this "terroir" family are the main assets of this company.

Viticulture at Château Labadie complies with the rules of sustainable farming: phytosanitary treatments are carried out in accordance with viticultural warnings issued by specialized organizations, but also based on experience, which allows for a reduction in these treatments. Nature always adds its own mysterious touch, and although winemaking is traditional, it varies depending on the vintage. However, the installation of a temperature control system allows the benefits of nature to be optimized.
