Labadie Castle
Château Labadie is located in the town of Bégadan, 70 km from Bordeaux. Originally a property classified as a “cru bourgeois” in 1932, Château Labadie —acquired in 1970 by Yves Bibey—now spans nearly 50 hectares. GFA Bibey, founded in 1997 to bring Jérôme into the production process, strives to produce a very high-quality AOC Médoc Cru Bourgeois wine. This family’s passion for wine and their warm hospitality—rooted in the terroir—are the company’s greatest assets.

Viticulture at Château Labadie adheres to the principles of sustainable farming: phytosanitary treatments are applied based on viticultural advisories issued by specialized organizations, as well as on the experience gained, which allows for a thoughtful reduction in the use of such treatments. Nature always adds its own mysterious touch, and although winemaking is traditional, it varies depending on the vintage. However, the installation of a temperature-control system helps optimize the benefits of nature.
