The 2014 Noaillac has a well-defined bouquet of cedar and mint infusion that opens up to fairly lively and energetic black fruits. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, supple tannins, very well-judged, natural and refined acidity, and a very pure finish that does not neglect the fruit. I have encountered some very good wines from this Médoc - the 2014 is certainly one of them." (Wine Advocate 2016 - Neal Martin) Not to be missed!

Guide Hachette des vins
Wine noted (guide 2018) 1*Star (Very successful wine)
Rated estate (2020 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)
About wine:
A predominantly Merlot blend (55%) in this beautifully complex Médoc, opening with ripe red fruit and prune aromas, complemented by subtle notes of leather and vanilla. On the palate, we find this beautiful fruity aromatic expression, which pairs well with a round and smooth texture, supported by velvety tannins. A well-balanced wine that can be enjoyed young or laid down for future enjoyment.
About the estate:
A beautiful 56-hectare estate benefiting from high-quality terroir (a ridge of Garonne gravel), this vineyard was purchased in 1982 by Marc Pagès, who also heads Ch. la Tour de By. After gaining initial experience at a Margaux classified growth, his grandson Damien joined the estate and took over its management in 2009.

Tasted with roast veal and mushrooms. A classic cuvée with fairly high tannins. Discreet nose. Slightly dry finish. At maturity. Should not be kept any longer.

Not much aroma on the nose, average finish on the palate, I didn't enjoy drinking it.

Considering the price, beyond 5 glasses. Intrinsically delicious complexity and finesse.

A pleasant surprise for the price! 15/20 No acidity on the finish. Very pleasant. With a few more years of aging potential.

Already very good and with potential. Don't just order one! After drinking it, you'll regret not having more in your cellar! Excellent value for money.
