"The 2014 Noaillac has a well-defined bouquet of cedar and mint infusion that gives way to fairly lively and energetic black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, supple tannins, very well-balanced acidity that is natural and refined, and a very pure finish that doesn’t overlook the fruit. I’ve encountered some very good wines from this Médoc—the 2014 is certainly one of them.” (Wine Advocate 2016 - Neal Martin) Not to be missed!

Wine noted (guide 2018) 1*Star (Very successful wine)
Rated estate (2020 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)
About the wine:
This Médoc, with its beautiful complexity, is dominated by Merlot (55%) and opens with ripe red fruits and prunes, complemented by subtle notes of leather and vanilla. On the palate, this lovely fruity aroma is paired with a round, smooth texture, supported by velvety tannins. A well-balanced wine that can be enjoyed young or cellared for the future.
About the estate:
A beautiful 56-hectare estate situated on high-quality soil (a hillock of Garonne gravel), this vineyard was purchased in 1982 by Marc Pagès, who also heads Château La Tour de By. After gaining initial experience at a classified growth in Margaux, his grandson Damien joined the estate and took over its management in 2009.

Pair with roast veal and mushrooms. A classic, fairly tannic vintage. Subtle on the nose. Slightly dry finish. Fully mature. No need to wait any longer.

Little aroma on the nose, a mediocre finish; I didn't enjoy drinking it

Considering the price, especially after the fifth glass. Intrinsically, it offers delightful complexity and finesse.

A pleasant surprise for the price! 15/20 No acidity on the finish. Very pleasant. Still has a few years of aging potential.
