Château Rocher Gardat
Owned by the same family since 1820, the Moze-Berthon vineyards consist of Rocher Gardat Castle in Montagne Saint-Émilion and Château Maillet in Pomerol. Today, Patrick Moze-Berthon and his eldest son Mickael represent the 7th and 8th generations. Since 2014, they have been joined by Hubert de Boüard de Laforest, the renowned consultant oenologist and co-owner of Château Angelus in Saint-Émilion.
Château Rocher Gardat is located on Montagne Saint-Émilion, a satellite appellation of Saint-Émilion. Its terroir is composed of gravel and sand on the surface, and clay-limestone and iron-rich subsoil. It brings finesse and perfect maturity, and the low yields contribute to exceptional concentration. This wine estate is HVE3 certified (High Environmental Value).
