Château La Couronne

Château La Couronne is owned by Thomas Thiou, a self-taught wine enthusiast who purchased it in 1994. At the time, it was a small family estate situated at the top of the southern hillside overlooking the village of Saint-Emilion. Château La Couronne benefits from the expert guidance of oenologist Jean-Philippe Fort.

The Château La Couronne vineyard comprises 11 hectares of vines managed according to sustainable principles. Green pruning is carried out by a team of seasonal workers trained by the estate. This team then supervises the harvesters as they sort the grapes in the vineyard. Château La Couronne wines are produced using traditional methods to create complex and deep wines.
