Château Plaisance (Ducourt Vineyards)

Château Plaisance is owned by Vignobles Ducourt, which also owns other estates, such as Château d’Haurets and Château Jacques Noir, among others.

Château Plaisance is a very old estate that was acquired in 1994 by Celliers de Bordeaux Benauge, the marketing division of Vignobles Ducourt. It is managed by Eric Fuzeau, who, in collaboration with Philippe Ducourt, produces a Montagne Saint-Emilion of the highest quality on a loamy-clay terroir, using sustainable and meticulous vineyard management practices.

Château Plaisance wines are always very complex and well-balanced, with a finish often characterized by a lovely minerality.
