Château Plaisance (Ducourt Vineyards)

Château Plaisance is owned by Vignobles Ducourt, which also owns other estates, such as Château d'Haurets and Château Jacques Noir, among others.

Château Plaisance is originally a very old estate acquired in 1994 by Celliers de Bordeaux Benauge, the marketing arm of Vignobles Ducourt. It is managed by Eric Fuzeau, who, in collaboration with Philippe Ducourt, produces a Montagne Saint-Emilion of the highest quality on a limestone-clay terroir, using sustainable and meticulous vineyard management techniques.

Château Plaisance wines are always very complex and balanced, with a finish often marked by a beautiful minerality.
