Branas Grand Poujeaux Castle
Château Branas Grand Poujeaux has been owned by Justin Onclin since 2002 and benefits from the expert advice of oenologist Hubert de Bouärd, who is also co-owner of Château Angelus. Located in Moulis-en-Médoc, Château Branas Grand Poujeaux is neighbors with the famous Châteaux Poujeaux and Chasse Spleen.

Château Branas Grand Poujeaux enjoys a fantastic terroir, which it cultivates with great precision. Since the acquisition of Château Granins Grand Poujeaux, the vineyard now covers 20 hectares of vines, planted on Günz Garonne gravel terroir on the Grand Poujeaux plateau. The parcel-based approach to cultivation allows for manual care tailored to each vine. Vinification uses modern techniques aimed at extracting the best from the grapes while respecting them. The wine is finally aged for 16-18 months in new barrels, with a carefully measured selection to respect the character of each vintage.

In just a few years, with strength and freedom, Justin Onclin has built a refined and modern estate. Château Branas Grand Poujeaux wines are powerful and elegant, and their quality is a testament to the excellence of the work carried out.
