Château Branas, Grand Poujeaux
Château Branas Grand Poujeaux has been owned by Justin Onclin since 2002 and benefits from the expert guidance of oenologist Hubert de Bouärd, who is also a co-owner of Château Angelus. Located in Moulis-en-Médoc, Château Branas Grand Poujeaux is situated near the famous Châteaux Poujeaux and Chasse Spleen.

Château Branas Grand Poujeaux boasts a fantastic terroir that it cultivates with great precision. Since the acquisition of Château Granins Grand Poujeaux, the vineyard now spans 20 hectares of vines, planted on Günz-era Garonne gravel soils on the Grand Poujeaux plateau. The plot-by-plot approach to cultivation allows for manual care tailored to each vine. Winemaking employs modern techniques aimed at extracting the best from the grapes while respecting them. The wine is then aged for 16–18 months in new barrels, with a carefully balanced selection to preserve the character of each vintage.

In just a few years, with determination and freedom, Justin Onclin has built a refined and modern estate. The Château Branas Grand Poujeaux wines are powerful and elegant, and their quality is a testament to the excellence of the work carried out.
