Château Branas, Grand Poujeaux
Château Branas Grand Poujeaux has been owned by Justin Onclin since 2002 and benefits from the expert guidance of winemaker Hubert de Bouärd, who is also a co-owner of Château Angelus. Located in Moulis-en-Médoc, Château Branas Grand Poujeaux is neighbors with the famous Châteaux Poujeaux and Chasse Spleen.

Château Branas Grand Poujeaux boasts a fantastic terroir, which it cultivates with great precision. Since the acquisition of Château Granins Grand Poujeaux, the vineyard now spans 20 hectares, planted on a terroir of Garonne gravel from the Günz period on the Grand Poujeaux plateau. The plot-by-plot approach to cultivation allows for manual care tailored to each vine. Winemaking employs modern techniques designed to extract the best from the grapes while respecting them. The wine is then aged for 16–18 months in new barrels, with a carefully balanced selection to preserve the character of each vintage.

In just a few years, with determination and creative freedom, Justin Onclin has built a refined and modern estate. The Château Branas Grand Poujeaux wines are powerful and elegant, and their quality is a testament to the excellence of the work carried out.
