Château Duhart-Milon
Château Duhart-Milon extends its vineyard almost as a single block on the west side of Château Lafite Rothschild, on the Milon hillside, which extends the Carruades de Lafite plateau. The Château Duhart-Milon estate comprises 76 hectares of vines in the Pauillac appellation. The soils are fine gravel mixed with windblown sand on a subsoil of tertiary limestone. The vines are divided between Cabernet Sauvignon (67%) and Merlot (33%). The average age of the vineyard is 30 years.

Since 1962, the property has been managed by a single team supervising both Château Lafite Rothschild and Château Duhart-Milon, given the proximity of the two estates. Charles Chevallier, Director of the Estates, is assisted by Christophe Congé, oenologist and winemaker, and Régis Porfilet, vineyard manager.

The techniques used at Château Duhart-Milon are identical at both châteaux and remain traditional, incorporating strict yield control, hand harvesting, and numerous tasks carried out manually throughout the year. The estate's average production (Château Duhart-Milon, Moulin de Duhart, and Baron de Milon) is 30,000 cases of fine Pauillac wine per year, bottled at the château.
