Gaudin Castle
Château Gaudin overlooks the wide Gironde estuary, near Bordeaux. The Château Gaudin vineyard spans about ten hectares, sloping down toward a wooded area to the west. Château Gaudin benefits from a high-quality terroir, situated on the gravelly hillsides of Pauillac. The Château Gaudin vines are nestled in the heart of the Grands Crus Classés. This pedigree is key to producing a classic, distinguished Pauillac wine, characterized by beautiful elegance and finesse.

The grape varieties used in Château Gaudin’s wines consist of Cabernet Sauvignon (85%), Merlot (10%), Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Carménère (5%). The average age of the vineyard is 40 years. Cultivation and winemaking are highly traditional, with no weed control. At Château Gaudin, the grapes are harvested by hand.
