Located 18 kilometers southwest of Bordeaux, the Domaine de la Solitude, owned by the Religious Community of the HOLY FAMILY since 1854, spans 32 hectares in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation. In 1993, the decision to entrust the management of the Domaine de la Solitude vineyard to the BERNARD FAMILY—owners of the il- lustre Domaine de Chevalier, a Grand Cru Classé of Graves—for 40 years, helped reveal the qualities of this exceptional terroir. The white and red wines of Domaine de la Solitude now rival the appellation’s finest wines.
