Château Haut-Vigneau
Château Haut-Vigneau is an estate located in the town of Martillac, near Bordeaux, and was once part of Baron de Montesquieu’s estate. Today, Château Haut-Vigneau belongs to Eric Perrin (also owner of Château Carbonnieux), who, in the mid-1980s, launched a vast program of deforestation and replanting to create this estate from scratch within the Pessac-Léognan AOC.

Thanks to its remarkable location, its exceptional terroir, and the care devoted to both the vineyard and the winery, Château Haut-Vigneau is able to compete with the best. The wines of Château Haut-Vigneau assert their identity with the utmost respect for the grape varieties (60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot) and the terroir, through careful and traditional aging. This gives the wines of Château Haut-Vigneau very pleasant aromas of black fruit and very subtle notes of roasted coffee.
