dating back more than 700 years. While the first vines were planted around
1310, the expertise in viticulture dates back to the 17th century and was
passed down by the monks of the Grande Chartreuse de Bordeaux, skilled
vine growers and master winemakers.
Today, the teams at Château La Louvière use these
time-honored techniques and add just the right touch of innovation and
modernity needed to bring out the character of this exceptional terroir, situated between Château Haut-Bailly and Château Carbonnieux.
