"This flagship wine from Pessac-Léognan is refined, with a delicate texture and perfect harmony!"

"The 2019 Château Latour-Martillac Blanc is outstanding, offering a rich, concentrated yet lively and racy style that will age beautifully. The nose is marked by aromas of ripe lemon, honeyed grapefruit, chalky minerality, and a few floral notes. The wine is medium-bodied to full-bodied, with excellent overall balance and a beautiful finish. This is a high-class Bordeaux Blanc that will have a longevity of over 15 years." (Jeb Dunnuck 2022) - Delivery in wooden crates is available for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on the country and shipping method selected).

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated estate (2022 guide) 3 stars (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

This classified growth is a model family estate, with all the Kressmann children displaying an almost filial attachment to their heritage and very sound management. The red wine has gained greatly in tannin finesse and texture elegance. The wines are classic, with an emphasis on fruit, tannin quality, and freshness. Under the leadership of the highly talented and rigorous Valérie Vialard, the white wines are flawless, precise, aromatic, and perfectly lively.

Rated estate (2022 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the estate:

While many of the big names in Bordeaux wine trading chose to set up in the Médoc, the Kressmanns opted for the Graves region and this vineyard, acquired in 1930, which owes its name to a tower adorning its courtyard, a remnant of a castle built in the 12th century by Montesquieu's ancestors. A beautiful 50-hectare estate renowned for both its white and red wines.

Wine rating (2023 guide) 93/100 Favorite

Rated estate (2023 guide) 2 stars (These very large estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).

About the estate:

This is a fine example of a family estate, still owned by the Kressmanns, a historic family of Bordeaux wine merchants. Tristan and Loïc Kressmann are now at the helm of this classified growth, which enjoys an excellent location on the Martillac plateau. Each generation has respected the heritage handed down to them, while making progress in vineyard management and winemaking with their cellar master, Valérie Vialard. The château inaugurated a new winery for red wines with the 2019 vintage. Without succumbing to passing fads, the wines have retained their elegant and precise style, while gaining in density. This very convincing balance between tradition and modernity, as well as the particularly distinguished character of the latest vintages, lead us to award Latour-Martillac a second star.

About wine:

This warm, ripe wine has notes of yellow fruit and an appealing hint of citrus. At this stage, barrel aging is reflected in spices and toasted bread notes, but these will disappear as the wine fully integrates. Drink from 2024. - Roger Voss

Wine rated (2020 guide) 92-93/100

About wine:

Light yellow with green highlights. Bouquet of good intensity revealing notes of citrus, white peaches, and a touch of verbena. Very fresh on the palate, where the wine presents a touch of saltiness and subtle aromatic nuances. A racy, refined wine that can already be enjoyed in its youth but has good potential. Fruity and salty finish. Now – 2034
