"This flagship wine from Pessac-Léognan is refined, with a delicate texture and perfect balance!"

“The 2019 Château Latour-Martillac Blanc is outstanding, offering a rich, concentrated yet lively and elegant style that will age beautifully. The nose is marked by aromas of ripe lemon, honeyed grapefruit, chalky minerality, and a few floral notes. The wine is medium-bodied to full-bodied, with excellent overall balance and a lovely finish. It is a high-class white Bordeaux with a longevity of over 15 years.” (Jeb Dunnuck 2022) - Delivery in a wooden case is available for orders of 12 bottles of this wine (depending on the country and selected shipping method)

Rated estate (2022 guide): 3*Stars (High-quality production that serves as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

This classified growth is a model of a family-owned estate, with all the Kressmann children displaying an almost filial attachment to their heritage and the estate being managed very soundly. The red wine has gained significantly in tannin finesse and textural elegance. The wines are classic, with an emphasis on fruit, quality tannins, and freshness. Under the guidance of the highly talented and meticulous Valérie Vialard, the white wines are impeccable, precise, aromatic, and perfectly lively.

Rated estate (2022 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines regularly receive awards from the guide)

About the estate:

While many of the big names in the Bordeaux wine trade have chosen to establish themselves in the Médoc, the Kressmanns opted for the Graves and this estate, acquired in 1930, which owes its name to a tower adorning its courtyard—a remnant of a château built in the 12th century by ancestors of Montesquieu. A beautiful 50-hectare estate renowned as much for its whites as for its reds.

Rated Estate (2023 Guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)

About the estate:

Here is a fine example of a family-owned estate, still in the hands of the Kressmanns, a historic family of Bordeaux wine merchants. Tristan and Loïc Kressmann are now at the helm of this cru classé, which enjoys a superb location on the Martillac plateau. Successive generations have honored the legacy passed down to them, while making steady progress in vineyard management and winemaking under the guidance of their head winemaker, Valérie Vialard. The château inaugurated a new winemaking facility for red wines with the 2019 vintage. Without succumbing to the allure of passing trends, the wines have retained their elegant and precise style; however, they are gaining in depth. This highly compelling balance between tradition and modernity, along with the particularly distinguished character of the most recent vintages, leads us to award Latour-Martillac a second star.

About the wine:

This warm, ripe wine offers notes of yellow fruit and an appealing hint of citrus. At this stage, barrel aging has imparted spices and notes of toast, but these will fade as the wine fully integrates. Best enjoyed starting in 2024. — Roger Voss

Wine rated (2020 guide) 92-93/100

About the wine:

Light yellow with green highlights. A well-defined bouquet revealing notes of citrus, white peaches, and a hint of verbena. Very fresh on the palate, with a touch of salinity and delicate aromatic nuances. A refined and elegant wine that can be enjoyed now in its youth but has good aging potential. Fruity and briny finish. Now – 2034
