Domaine de Merlet

Domaine de Merlet is a 6.5-hectare estate owned by the Tauzin family. Located between two Grands Crus Classés of the Pessac-Léognan appellation, it currently comprises 6.5 hectares of vineyards.

The Domaine de Merlet vineyard is situated on terroir identical to that of the neighboring Grands Crus (Haut-Bailly and La Louvière), namely filtering gravel deposited by the Garonne River. Out of a commitment to environmental stewardship and to improving quality, the use of herbicides has been banned in favor of comprehensive soil cultivation.
