Château Bellegrave
Château Bellegrave is located on the banks of the Gironde River, near Bordeaux. The Château Bellegrave estate is planted on predominantly gravelly soil. The Caussèque family, whose roots in the region go back several generations, cultivates and vinifies the estate according to Médoc tradition.
The vineyard is planted with 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot. Each year, Château Bellegrave produces a special cuvée made from a selection of old vines, blended equally from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
Château Bellegrave is a superb Médoc Cru Bourgeois wine—well-rounded and already very enjoyable, reflecting expert aging. Its well-structured palate, fresh and crisp with delicate floral notes, makes it one of the most interesting Bordeaux wines available.
