Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 Château Bellegrave opens with enticing notes of plum jam, blueberry tart, and blackberry compote, with hints of licorice, earth, cinnamon stick, and garrigue. Medium-bodied on the palate, it is bursting with juicy black fruits and plenty of spicy accents, framed by velvety tannins and just the right amount of freshness, finishing with a hint of anise.
