Beau-Séjour Bécot Castle
Château Beau-Séjour Bécot is located in the heart of the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation, on the Saint-Martin de Mazerat plateau in the Bordeaux region. Michel Bécot, a descendant of a family of winemakers who have lived in Saint-Emilion since 1760, has owned Château Beau-Séjour Bécot since 1929. In 1979, with the acquisition of 4.5 hectares on the Trois Moulins plateau, the Bécot family expanded the property once again. The estate, which then took the name Château Beau-Séjour Bécot, now covers 16.6 hectares and represents a cohesive whole on a perfectly homogeneous terroir.

In 1985, Michel Bécot retired and entrusted the management of Château Beau-Séjour Bécot to his two sons, Gérard and Dominique, who turned it into one of the jewels of the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru AOC.
