Clos de l'Oratoire
In 1971, Count Stephan von Niepperg acquired several properties in Saint-Emilion, including Clos de l'Oratoire.

Located on the northeast hillside of Saint-Emilion, Clos de l'Oratoire covers 13 hectares of vineyards. Its molasse terroir, composed of a sandy layer over a clay subsoil, is particularly suited to growing Merlot, which accounts for 80% of the vineyard.

At Clos de l'Oratoire, vinification takes place exclusively in temperature-controlled wooden vats in order to develop the wine's full potential in terms of color and flavor.
