Château Corbin
Legend has it that the lands of Château Corbin once belonged to the Black Prince, who fought the French at the start of the Hundred Years’ War... Built in the 18th century in the neoclassical style, the château has evolved elegantly over the centuries. Château Corbin has been in the same family since 1924. Passed down through the female line from generation to generation, it is now owned by Anabelle Cruse (4th generation) and her husband, Sébastien Bardinet. A trained oenologist and owner of the estate since 2007, Anabelle Cruse Bardinet has been managing this vineyard since 1999. Year after year, she works to continuously improve the estate and its production: renewing the vineyards, restructuring the site, creating a new plot-specific cellar... Planted as a single contiguous block, the 13 hectares of the Corbin vineyard are located in the northwest of the Saint-Émilion appellation, very close to Pomerol, partly on ancient sands and partly on clay soils.
