Château Corbin
Legend has it that the lands of Château Corbin belonged to the Black Prince, who fought the French at the start of the Hundred Years' War... Built in the 18th century in a neoclassical style, the château has evolved elegantly over the centuries. Château Corbin has belonged to the same family since 1924. Passed down through the female line from generation to generation, it is now owned by Anabelle Cruse (4th generation) and her husband Sébastien Bardinet. A trained oenologist and owner of the estate since 2007, Anabelle Cruse Bardinet has been managing the vineyard since 1999. Year after year, she works to constantly improve the estate and its production: renewing plots, restructuring the site, creating a new plot-by-plot winery, etc. Planted in a single block, Corbin's 13 hectares of vineyards are located in the north-west of the Saint-Émilion appellation, very close to Pomerol, partly on ancient sand and partly on clay.
