Château Croix de Labrie
The Croix de Labrie Castle is a small estate in the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru AOC region, reminiscent of Burgundy with its mosaic of plots. Ideally located near Château Pavie, the vineyards cover just 5.7 hectares and are cultivated using organic and biodynamic methods. Axelle & Pierre Courdurié have been the proud owners since 2004. She is the alchemist, working both in the vineyard and the winery, while he manages the marketing of the wines.
Without mentioning Château Valandraud, Château Croix de Labrie is also considered a "garage wine." This term refers to exclusive St-Émilion wines that are beautifully crafted and produced in very small quantities. The wines are highly appreciated by connoisseurs and demonstrate a style of finesse, elegance, and sensuality. Depending on taste, they can be enjoyed over a wide range of 5 to 15 years.
