Château Croix de Labrie
The Croix de Labrie Castle is a small estate in the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru AOC that evokes Burgundy with its mosaic of plots. Ideally situated near Château Pavie, the vineyards cover just 5.7 hectares and are cultivated using organic and biodynamic methods. Since 2004, Axelle & Pierre Courdurié have been the proud owners. She is the alchemist, working both in the vineyard and in the winery, while he manages the marketing of the wines.
Although not as well-known as Château Valandraud, Château Croix de Labrie is also considered a "garage wine." This term refers to small-batch, high-quality wines from Saint-Émilion produced in very limited quantities. The wines are highly appreciated by connoisseurs and exhibit a style characterized by finesse, elegance, and sensuality. Depending on personal preference, they can be enjoyed over a wide range of 5 to 15 years.
