Château Les Grandes Murailles

Château Les Grandes Murailles
Château Les Grandes Murailles is owned by the Reiffers family, who have been growing vines in Saint-Emilion since 1643, respecting the terroir and the high standards of quality that have made their AOC Saint-Emilion wines, near Bordeaux, so renowned. The Rieffers family imposes the same quality standards on Château Les Grandes Murailles as on Château Côte de Baleau and Clos Saint-Martin, also owned by the Reiffers family, which has placed its wines at the highest level of the appellation.

The vineyard of Château Les Grandes Murailles covers two hectares of clay-limestone soil. The vines, with an average age of thirty years, produce Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes, enabling the production of a rich and powerful wine. Sophie Fourcade now manages the Château Les Grandes Murailles estate with the same objective: to combine respect for tradition with a spirit of innovation in order to produce great wines.
