Château La Couspaude
Château La Couspaude is nestled in the heart of the town of Saint-Émilion. Its vineyard spans nearly 7 hectares and is situated on a clay-limestone plateau. This estate has a long-standing reputation that has been upheld over time, as the Aubert family has ensured the exceptional quality of the Château’s wines. Indeed, the family is committed to preserving ancestral winemaking traditions while incorporating new practices to promote biodiversity on the estate.
Following an initial phase of vineyard replanting—which was essential in the 1960s—the team at Château La Couspaude renovated its cellar to provide the wine with constant, natural temperature and humidity control. This effort was rewarded a few years later when Château La Couspaude was awarded the title of Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Émilion.
