La Mondotte

Owned by the von Neipperg family since the 1970s, Stephan von Neipperg now oversees the 4.5 hectares of the La Mondotte estate.

The estate is situated on the clay-limestone plateau east of Saint-Emilion, the cradle of a terroir of exceptional quality that produces Grands Crus Classés—true jewels of the Right Bank. 

Certified organic since 2014, the clay-loam soils—resting on clay substrates typical of the region—foster the growth of vigorous vines bathed in beneficial sunshine.

La Mondotte thus produces absolutely sublime vintages every year, combining the finesse of its blend with the power of its exceptional terroir.
