La Mondotte

Owned by the von Neipperg family since the 1970s, the 4.5-hectare La Mondotte estate is now managed by Stephan von Neipperg.

The estate is situated on the clay-limestone plateau east of Saint-Emilion, the cradle of a terroir of exceptional quality that gives rise to Grands Crus Classés, true jewels of the Right Bank. 

Certified organic since 2014, the clay-loam soils resting on the region’s typical clay substrates foster the growth of vigorous vines bathed in beneficial sunshine.

La Mondotte thus offers absolutely sublime vintages every year, combining the finesse of its blend with the power of its exceptional terroir.
