La Mondotte

Owned by the von Neipperg family since the 1970s, Stephan von Neipperg now heads the 4.5-hectare La Mondotte estate.

The latter is located on the clay-limestone plateau to the east of Saint-Emilion, the cradle of a terroir of exceptional quality, giving rise to Grands Crus Classés, true jewels of the right bank.

Certified organic since 2014, the clay-loam soils resting on the clay substrates typical of the region, favor the development of vigorous vines bathed in beneficial sunshine.

La Mondotte offers absolutely sublime vintages every year, combining the finesse of its blend with the power of its exceptional terroir.
