Wine Spectator 89-91
Château Milon, owned by the Bouyer family, is produced each year from vines located at the foot of the hillside in the northern part of the appellation, on sandy-clay soil. This exceptional 2005 vintage reveals the great promise of this wine. Its deep red color opens to a nose of ripe fruit, cooked fruit, and spices. A supple and balanced wine with roundness and fruit, achieved through rigorous control of yields and 13 months of barrel aging. A fine example of the style!
