Rated estate (2014 guide): 3 stars (High-quality production, setting the standard in its sector)

About the estate:

Moulin Saint-Georges is to the grands crus of Saint-Émilion what Ausone is to the First Growths, especially since it belongs to the Vauthier family. It is managed according to principles similar to those of Ausone. While the terroir is not the same and the wine lacks the same finesse, the overall harmony is evident in every vintage. This wine deserves better than its classification.
