"A must-see for any fan of the Right Bank!"
“Dark, ripe plums with gentle spices, blue flowers, and dry earth. It is medium-bodied, with fine, lively tannins and sumptuous blue fruit on the mid-palate. It is polished and understated, with a lingering finish.” (James Suckling 2023)

About the estate:
A staple of the appellation, this estate, located at the foot of the Saint-Laurent valleys, became part of the Mestreguilhem family in 1929. The 7 hectares of that time have grown to 26 today. The estate has been managed since 1983 by Richard Mestreguilhem, who was joined in 2014 by his son Jean, an agricultural engineer, who now oversees technical operations.
Wine Spectator
Wine rated (2023 guide) 91/100 (Exceptional wine)
About the wine:
Alluring, with a warm note of mocha on the nose, followed by flavors of blackberry and slightly cooked plum. Velvety on the palate, with hints of bitter cocoa and licorice root on the finish. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. Enjoy now through 2030.
