“The 2014 Beau-Site offers an intense bouquet of black berries, notes of undergrowth, and cedar, which give it real punch. The dense palate is supported by firm tannins, an abundance of blackberry and blueberry, and a hint of spice on the finish. This Saint-Estèphe is well worth seeking out: a Beau-Site that is considerably improved compared to older vintages and promises excellent aging potential.” (Wine Advocate 2017 – Robert Parker) Excellent value for money within the appellation!

Rated estate (2021 guide): 2*Stars (A solid, recommendable production, though slightly more consistent and uniform than the previous one)
About the estate:
A magnificent Chartreuse overlooking the river, Beau-Site boasts one of the most beautiful panoramic views in the northern part of the appellation. It is owned by Philippe Castéja, who also owns the Châteaux Batailley and Trottevieille. The estate produces an elegant, refined wine that is always full-bodied without lacking finesse or elegance. The estate has reached a new milestone.
