Château Beau-Site

Château Beau-Site is one of the oldest estates in Saint-Estèphe. Owned by Borie Manoux since 1955, the company’s dual expertise as both owner and wine merchant is perfectly reflected in Château Beau-Site, which, across its 35 hectares , showcases the diversity of the Saint-Estèphe terroir—a quality that has earned it the designation of Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel. Its name aptly reflects its splendid location on the banks of the Gironde, facing due south on the slope opposite Château Calon-Ségur. On its stony slopes grow vines whose old vines have been carefully preserved, producing racy, full-bodied, and elegant wines comparable to those of its illustrious neighbor.
