Château Beau-Site

Château Beau-Site is one of the oldest estates in Saint-Estèphe. Owned and operated by Borie Manoux since 1955, Château Beau-Site 's 35 hectares are a perfect representation of the diversity of the Saint-Estèphe terroir, earning it the title of Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel. Its name indicates that it is admirably situated on the banks of the Gironde, facing due south, on the slope opposite Château Calon-Ségur. On its stony slopes grow vines whose old stock has been carefully preserved, producing racy, full-bodied, elegant wines comparable to those of its illustrious neighbor.
