"Don't miss it!"

"Clove, spices, and a hint of bark with aromas of blackcurrant and blackberry. Licorice too. It is full-bodied and very tight with ultra-fine, firm tannins and a long, creamy finish. Racy and structured. Very classic in nature. Try after 2024." " (James Suckling 2021) . Excellent value for money for the appellation.

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated estate (2021 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About the estate:

A magnificent charterhouse overlooking the river, Beau-Site enjoys one of the most beautiful panoramas in the northern part of the appellation. It belongs to Philippe Castéja, who also owns the Batailley and Trottevieille châteaux. The estate produces an elegant, distinguished wine that is always full-bodied without lacking finesse or elegance. The property has reached a new milestone.

About wine:

Extremely seductive aromas of ripe plums and peaches with spices such as nutmeg. Full-bodied, deep, and firm in texture, with beautiful fruit and a lovely long, flavorful finish. The best since 1989. Try after 2021.
