Pack of 6 wooden boxes

“A pure, well-balanced, and elegant texture. I particularly appreciate its overall balance and purity! ~ Jeb Dunnuck”

“A lively nose with aromas of red berries and red flowers. A vibrant pink color in the glass. Lively, crisp acidity, firm tannins, and a fresh note of wet stone and graphite. Clean and precise, a classic wine where freshness reigns supreme. A refined palate, yet with a soft attack and a texture derived from well-integrated tannins. Serious and well-structured. You can really sense the Cabernet here: mint, tobacco, crushed stone. A palate that holds up well, juicy, yet also fresh and tight.” (Decanter 2026)

Rated estate (2019 guide): 3 stars (High-quality production, setting the standard in its sector)

About the estate:

An excellent Saint-Estèphe, a true expression of a great terroir, and still relatively unknown to many, which explains its reasonable and affordable prices.

Hachette Wine Guide

Guide Hachette des vins

Rated estate (2019 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)

About the estate:

A genuine family estate, still inhabited—a rarity—by its owners. Owned by the same family since 1922, Cos Labory is the home of Bernard Audoy, the current president of the Saint-Estèphe appellation. The estate was part of Cos d'Estournel until 1810, when it was purchased by François Labory. With a relatively modest size for a classified growth (18 hectares), its vineyards are divided into three main sections, one of which is crescent-shaped, to the west of the château. All consist of gravel, but on more or less clay-rich subsoils.

Rated estate (2019 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)

About the estate:

Though a relatively low-key classified growth from Saint-Estèphe, Cos Labory is by no means lacking in merits. The Audoy family, which runs the estate, produces a very classic wine, often a bit austere in its youth, but one that ages with elegance. Far from current modern trends, Cos Labory—which was separated from Cos d'Estournel during the French Revolution—has produced interesting wines in recent vintages, at prices that remain very reasonable.

Wine rated (2026 guide) 94-95/100

About the wine:

A red wine that is both smooth and silky, with notes of blackberries, hazelnut, and spices that linger on the palate in this medium-bodied to full-bodied wine, featuring fresh fruit aromas and a lively finish. A blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, and 11% Cabernet Franc.

About the wine:

Aromas of red, blue, and black fruits, fresh flowers, violets, and graphite emerge from the Château Cos Labory 2025, a blend composed of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, and 11% Cabernet Franc, aged in 20% new oak barrels. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with a pure, well-balanced, and elegant texture, silky tannins, and a lovely finish. It has an alcohol content of 13.4% and a pH of 3.63, and I particularly appreciate its overall balance and purity.
