An elegant, fruity, and mineral-driven nose; a very well-structured palate with plenty of body and maturity, rich and tight tannins, a vigorous finish, and plenty of character.

A complex nose of chocolate, cherries, plums, and blackcurrants. Delicious right from the start, it makes your cheeks pucker; the tannins are abundant and fill the mouth with a soft, juicy texture that’s truly pleasant. I really like this density—it’s full-bodied without being too heavy; it’s all about balance. A truly enjoyable wine, perfect for pairing with a good meal, and one that will age well, continuing to integrate and soften—but I love its confident fruitiness right now. Hints of sweet milk chocolate, chalk, and a hint of herbaceousness as well—everything you need in a good Bordeaux! Typical character and approachability. A sure bet!

Ideally situated on the Saint-Estèphe plateau, the estate produces this rich, full-bodied wine. The still-astringent tannins indicate its aging potential. The tannins are balanced by notes of blackcurrant.

The nose is fresh, mineral, and refined, offering a lovely freshness and power. It reveals notes of fresh blackberry, ripe and fresh wild strawberry, and, more subtly, licorice, combined with delicate hints of blackcurrant, blueberry, refined minerality, and very subtle hints of tonka bean. The palate is fresh, fruity, and balanced, offering lovely definition, freshness, tension, precision, and a fresh, tangy structure. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy, fresh blackcurrant and, to a lesser extent, juicy, fresh blackberry, combined with subtle hints of fresh red berries (cherry, raspberry), delicate hints of chocolate, toast, and caramelization, as well as an imperceptible hint of tonka bean and cardamom.

A generous dose of fresh, sweet red currants, cedar, and tobacco leaf forms the core of this full-bodied, fruity, and sweet wine. It may not be the most complex wine, but it’s hard to find a Cabernet Sauvignon with more character at this price point.
