Château Morin
Château Morin is located in one of the highest corners of the commune of Saint-Estèphe, near Bordeaux, in a place called "Saint-Corbian". Château Morin stands there, calm and peaceful, in its clear 18th-century style. In 1858, Doctor Constant Alibert acquired Château Morin. In 1890, his son Paul, a well-known Pauillac banker, took over the estate. In 1947, his daughter Madame Jean Sidaine inherited the family estate, which she passed on to her children, Maxime and Marguerite Sidaine. They have been running the estate since their mother's death in 1972. In July 2005, the estate was acquired by Château de Pez.
The Château Morin estate, with a planted area of 10.5 hectares, is located in a single block on one of the highest croups in Saint-Estèphe. Its homogeneous terroir of clay-limestone gravel is magnificently exposed to maximum sunshine. The proximity of the estuary provides Château Morin's vines with a microclimate highly conducive to producing great wines.
