Cherry red with a ruby core. On the nose: dark forest fruits, earthy, vegetal, undergrowth, roots. Needs to breathe. On the palate, plenty of juicy forest fruits and red berries, a slight, pleasant sweetness from the ripe fruit, iron, herbs, and nicely present tannins that provide grip and tension. Definitely a full-bodied structure. Medium body and a similarly medium finish. In short, I say “yes, please” to this elegant wine. Score: 16/20
