Château Lalande
Although small in size, the Saint-Julien appellation boasts the highest concentration of classified growths in the Médoc, thanks to its highly consistent terroir. It is here that we find one of his remarkable discoveries, Château Lalande. It wasestablishedin 1964 following the purchase of a single contiguous parcel at Château Lagrange by Gabriel Meffre, a nurseryman from the south of France who fell in love with the region.
For 60 years, Château Lalande has benefited from the expertise and passion of the Meffre family, who also run Château Glana in Saint-Julien and Château Bellegrave in Pauillac.
