Château Teynac

Château Teynac is located on the most beautiful gravelly hillsides of Saint-Julien, on the Beychevelle vineyards, nestled among the Grands Crus Classés, which account for 90% of the appellation’s total area. The third edition of *Bordeaux and Its Wines* (1874) states: “Château Teynac, ranked among the second and fourth growths in the official 1834 classification.”

In 1990, Château Teynac, along with Château Corconnac, became the property of the Pairault family. Traditional viticultural methods, sustainable pest management, hand-harvesting with sorting, careful and meticulous winemaking, and aging in French oak barrels give Château Teynac wines that are rich in color and fine tannins, earning it numerous awards. At Teynac, it is the respect for the raw material that lends the wines both finesse and power, as is fitting for a Saint-Julien.
