Françoise André - Beaune 1er cru « Belissand » 2018
2*Coup de Coeur
Hachette
"This is the only white wine from the appellation in this selection, but what a white wine! It is also the estate’s first vintage from this Premier Cru vineyard, located at the foot of the Beaune mountain, which owes its name to the ‘radiant’ Gallic goddess Belisama. The wine presents itself with a pale, brilliant gold color, opening with notes of dried fruit, white flowers, brioche, and a hint of vanilla. Full-bodied yet light, floral and fruity, the palate perfectly integrates the oak before a finish refreshed by a touch of salinity. A truly radiant Beaune.
