Jean-Claude Boisset
Jean-Claude Boisset established his small wine house near Gevrey-Chambertin in the early 1960s. He settled in the heart of Nuits-Saint-Georges in a former Ursuline convent. The spirit of the house can be summed up in three words: origin, purity, elegance.

Grégory Patriat joined the house and in 2002 became Jean-Claude Boisset's"winemaker." He reconciles the art of winemaking with that of cultivation, acting as a link between the wine and the vine, the one through whom the wine is born. Grégory has the great luxury of being able to choose his grapes. He works in symbiosis with "his" winegrowers, those who accept his stringent selection criteria and excessive demands. In the vineyard, his requirements are very specific: yield control, debudding, green harvesting, and organic cultivation.

Jean-Claude Boisset produces authentic wines, where human intervention is kept to a minimum; the wines are concentrated, round, and, of course, express their terroir. Man takes a back seat, the land speaks for itself.
