Rating from the Hachette Wine Guide: 2** (Remarkable Wine) + Editor’s Choice
“Charmes boasts a beautiful, sparkling ruby color, with a flattering, ripe nose of alcohol-soaked morello cherries and forest floor notes, enlivened by a subtle hint of saltiness. This invigorating note carries through to the palate, which is exceptionally refined, clean, silky, and airy, with enough structure to withstand long-term aging (eight to ten years). A true Chambolle. Its only flaw: its limited availability.” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2014)
