2*Coup de Coeur

Hachette

"This superb crémant is made from Chardonnay (50%), Pinot Noir (35%), and Gamay. Its pale pink hue is filled with a steady stream of fine, lively bubbles. The nose features aromas of red fruits (redcurrant, raspberry) and white fruits of great delicacy. With a perfectly balanced dosage and impeccable effervescence, the palate is very fruity, fresh, lively, and long, enlivened by a lovely salty finish. Number 69? A reference to the achievements of the men who walked on the moon and to Jean-Charles Boisset’s year of birth.” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2017)

A wonderful surprise. It’s well worth the price of some cheaper champagnes and much better than many of them. Not too sweet, with fine bubbles.
