From the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, this red Givry is a plot selection initiated by Jonathan Brunot from sublime Pinot Noir vines planted in 1970 and 1971. A racy yet delicate cuvée, this 2023 vintage once again offers a bevy of small red fruits enveloped by silky tannins and magnificent amplitude on the palate. Perhaps inspired by its name, we immediately imagined it paired with a deliciously peppery piece of grilled meat!

Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
Passed on by his sons-in-law, this 14-hectare estate in the hamlet of Russilly, north of the Givry appellation, is managed by Jonathan Brunot, Denis Valdenaire's son-in-law. The grapes are mechanically harvested and optically sorted, and the vinification process is rather traditional, with long ageing.
