From the heart of the Chalonnais coast, this red Givry is a single vineyard selection initiated by Jonathan Brunot from sublime Pinot Noir vines planted in 1970 and 1971. A racy yet delicate cuvée, this 2023 vintage once again offers a medley of red berries enveloped in silky tannins and magnificent amplitude on the palate. Perhaps inspired by its name, we immediately imagined it paired with a beautiful piece of grilled meat, deliciously seasoned with pepper!

About the estate:
Passed down by his sons-in-law, this 14-hectare estate located in the hamlet of Russilly, north of the Givry appellation, is managed by Jonathan Brunot, Denis Valdenaire's son-in-law. He practices sustainable viticulture without herbicides; the harvest is mechanical, optically sorted, with fairly traditional vinification and long aging.
