The history of Domaine de la Ferté dates back to the 12th century, when the vineyards on the current estate were cultivated by the monks of the Abbey of Cîteaux.
The Domaine de la Ferté vineyard spans 2.37 hectares of vines, including 1 hectare of Premier Cru, planted on the finest terroirs of the Givry appellation. The Pinot Noir vines, averaging 35 years of age, are cultivated using sustainable methods.
Domaine de la Ferté is owned by the Devillard family (Château de Chamirey, Domaine des Perdrix, Domaine de la Garenne)
