On the outskirts of the village of Verzé, Chardonnay draws its expression from predominantly limestone soils. This results in intense mineral notes of flint and chalk, which highlight the character of the Croix-Jarrier terroir, which is cooler and more tense in its expression than other hillsides in the Mâconnais region. A very good Mâcon-Verzé!
