"A unique terroir that will delight all taste buds!"

The nose of this lovely white wine reveals delicate toasted aromas, blending harmoniously with notes of yellow fruit, plum, marzipan, and hazelnut. Fresh on the palate, it then develops richness and power, resulting in an expressive, dense wine with a very pleasant length.

Rated estate (2021 guide) 1*Star (A serious production, recommendable, in line with what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About the estate:

The Mont Épin estate is the second estate owned by brothers Richard and Stéphane Martin, of Croix Sénaillet de Davayé, acquired in 2015 and whose vineyards are located around Mont Épin. It comprises 15 hectares divided into four terroirs and two appellations, Mâcon-Péronne (seven hectares) and Viré-Clessé. The estate is in the process of converting to organic farming in line with the philosophy at Davayé, and the wines are available in two vintages in Péronne and two in Viré-Clessé, with a rather charming style thanks to the ripe harvest. These wines are perfect for fine dining.
