"Ranked among the world's finest wines, experience the excellence of Napa Valley in every glass!"
“A classic vintage that perfectly embodies the Opus style. A magnificent, vivid plum color; sculpted, balanced, and full of depth, with waves of rose petals, iris, and peony, along with notes of sweet toasted cumin, sage, and white pepper. I love this wine’s hidden power and its supple, slightly chalky tannins, structured with precision and finesse. Precise, complex, and long on the palate, this is a brilliant Opus—concentrated yet delicate. It feels more understated and captures the spirit of the early Opus wines, which pushed the boundaries of what Napa could be. Michael Silacci, winemaker, uses 100% new oak for aging that remains extremely well-integrated, even today. ” (Jane Anson 2024) - Delivery in a wooden case is available for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on country and selected shipping method)

About the wine:
The 2021 Opus One is a blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot, and 0.5% Malbec and Merlot. It was aged for up to 19 months in 100% new French oak barrels. This is a harmonious wine, with an elegance and grace worthy of a ballet. Its deep ruby-crimson color reveals intoxicating floral notes of red and violet, sandalwood, and rich brown spices, nuanced by hints of graphite and dried mugwort. Medium-bodied to full-bodied, with ultra-fine, almost powdery tannins, it offers magnificent aromas of cranberry and raspberry, as well as a juicy, woody character reminiscent of crushed pomegranate seeds. You won’t believe your eyes—this wine is so light and ephemeral. 2024–2050

About the wine:
An alluring aroma of violets, cherry blossoms, and fresh blue and black fruits, combined with a beautiful structure, characterizes this magnificent, age-worthy wine. A subtle interplay of fruit and woody spices, framed by firm, refined, and sustained tannins, lends it a serene intensity. So elegant and refined. Notes of cinnamon and graphite accentuate the flavors of blackcurrant and blueberry, which linger and intensify in a long finish. Already enjoyable to drink, but best enjoyed after 2029.
