"A straightforward, elegant champagne with beautiful minerality that delivers on all its promises."

"A beautifully consistent blanc de blancs with no dosage, made from the 2020 harvest, vinified in vats and complemented by reserve wines from 2019 aged for 12 months in barrels. Discreet and very mineral on the nose, chalky and iodized, this champagne is lively without being sharp, clean and slender. A straightforward and elegant champagne that will pair beautifully with seafood." (Le Guide Hachette 2025).

About wine:

This non-dosage blanc de blancs shows beautiful consistency. This version is based on the 2020 harvest, vinified in vats and complemented by reserve wines from 2019 aged for 12 months in barrels. Discreet and very mineral on the nose, chalky and iodized, the champagne is lively without being sharp, clean and slender. A straightforward and elegant champagne that will pair beautifully with seafood.

About the estate:

In 2000, Ludovic and Sandie Durdon took over from three generations on the family estate located in the Marne Valley. At the head of 7.5 hectares, they began the organic conversion of 3 hectares of vines; certification was obtained in 2013 for Chardonnay and in 2015 for Pinots, with biodynamic certification in 2023. Since 2021, a press and a new winery have enabled the entire winemaking process, previously entrusted to the local cooperative, to be carried out on the estate.

About the estate:

The family estate has just welcomed the fifth generation of winegrowers with the arrival of Antoine, the owners' son. With vineyards located in Vincelles and Barzy, in the heart of the Marne Valley, the estate covers just over 6 hectares. It practices certified organic farming for Chardonnay and is in the process of obtaining certification for the two Pinots. The wines are aged partly in barrels and partly in vats, then left to mature in the cellar for many years. This estate offers excellent quality across its entire range and also welcomes visitors to its gîte, where they can discover its wines and vineyards. Of particular note is the arrival of a single vineyard cuvée, "Les Sablons."

Always on the lookout for amazing champagne, I was pleasantly surprised by this natural blanc de blanc. It really brings out the elegance of Chardonnay. Very pleasant as an aperitif. The dosage is just right. For a blanc de blanc without dosage, it is also very affordable.

Aromatic richness, well-controlled acidity despite the absence of added sugar. An "extra-brut" that is accessible to beginners.
