A slow and bewildering effervescence. Pure, ripe aromas of yellow fruit, pastry and roasted notes, with hints of citrus... About wine:
Tasty, full of flavor, and extremely easy to digest, Reliance [...] perfectly expresses the style of the estate.
About the estate:
For twenty years, this estate has been committed to organic and then biodynamic farming to produce "bio-compatible champagnes that are easy to digest and readily recognized and assimilated by the body, providing simple pleasure and a feeling of well-being." Biodynamics has given meaning to the life of Franck Pascal, an engineer by training. The vineyard is dominated by Meunier and Pinot Noir, on flint and millstone clay soils, spread over five communes on the right bank of the Marne Valley. Yields are low. After a period of learning about natural winemaking and a few missteps, Franck now produces champagnes with character, aimed at a public seeking vinosity and a taste of the terroir. The wines are now of a remarkable standard. The extra-brut dosages and disgorging dates are mentioned on each bottle.
